Delta Pi, a career chapter, is a group of 10 fun-loving, caring women who meet the first Wednesday of each month. Our members vary in age from 40+ to 70+. Throughout the year, in smaller groups and in mixed socials, we enjoy restaurants, shopping, spa nights, theatre outings, author evenings and occasional weekend trips. Monthly meetings include craft nights, travel programs, meditation and thought-provoking speakers from such organizations as Drummond House and the Alzheimer’s Society. Often on our meeting nights, spouses, under the alias “Delta Force”, get together and socialize too!\par As a group, we take our responsibility to our community and the world community seriously. Donations have been given to The Carpenter Hospice, Ronald McDonald House, Mission Services and the Compassion Society. Every year we look forward to sorting eye glasses for Medical Ministries International and decorating the Christmas Tree at the Burlington Central Library Children’s Department. We are very supportive of each other and enjoy the life-long friendships we have made through Sorority.
